We offer some great opportunities for career progression and development, alongside a competitive salary and a great benefits package.Iceland's IT Department are looking for a driven Business Analyst who can effectively liaise across IT and business departments in the coordination and gathering of requirements.Purpose of RoleThe role of a Business Analyst (BA) Include identifying Iceland's Objectives and problems, understanding business requirements from the relevant dept and stakeholders, offering unique and feasible solutions to problems, providing feedback on implementation, gauging functional and non-functional requirements. A BA also conducts research, data analysis, testing and documentation to support the delivery of business solutions.Key AccountabilitiesBelow is a list of activities for which the Business Analyst is responsible for performing within a given system or business area.Gathering, producing and analysing the business requirements from the stakeholdersTranslating the business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for the technical teamsCreating and maintaining various documents, such as business cases, user stories, use cases, wireframes, data models, and test casesValidating and verifying the solutions against the requirements and make sure they meet the quality standardsAssisting in the communication and relationship between the business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycleConducting user acceptance testing and providing feedback and support to the usersEvaluating the outcomes and benefits of the solutions and providing recommendations for improvementKPIsManage and keep up to date individual project documentation to include the following, if applicable:Detailed business requirementsTurning business requirements into functional and non-functional specificationsTo assist internal teams/depts.
