In this part-time role, based at Epworth Geelong Hospital, you will be responsible for financial and operational processes and analysis that underpin the sustainable operation of the Hospital. You will be part of the Epworth Geelong management team and report to the Finance Manager.
You will make an impact by:
Providing high quality and responsive financial and analysis support to the Executive team and internal business customers, largely the clinical management team.
Managing and delivering the month-end financial reporting process.
Creating the annual Hospital budget in conjunction with the Executive team and Managers.
Analysing and advising on revenue generation and improvement opportunities, and efficiency improvement opportunities.
Supporting the Epworth Group-wide finance function, including projects on behalf of all Epworth hospitals.
To be successful in this role…
You will be technically proficient but will enjoy engaging with clinical and management professionals when applying your financial and analytical acumen in a way that helps them achieve the Organisation's operational and financial goals.
You will have:
Bachelor Degree or Higher in Accounting/Commerce, or other analytical discipline, with CA or CPA desirable.
Ability to work independently, and to set and achieve goals and objectives.
Demonstrated history of identifying and helping deliver operational improvements.
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills to complement your technical skill.
Aspiration to build your Healthcare industry knowledge and progress your career.
