We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst who will be accountable for the design and implementation of a complex cloud-based environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude in the development and maintenance of user processes and requirements for infrastructure-related systems.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the solution architects and business users to document the solution definition and create user stories and a statement of requirement.Design/develop user stories for user interfaces and present them to the stakeholders to gain consensus on requirements.Identify new areas for product development by analyzing stakeholder requirements, behaviors, and system gaps.Add value beyond the analyst-defined role by enhancing existing workflow via resourceful project management, process improvement, and process automation.Provide data analysis, generate reports, listings, and graphs in various tools.Assist QA teams to create test strategy, test cases, and maintain test plans and logs.Perform GAP analysis by identifying existing technologies and documenting the enhancements to meet the end-state requirements.Gather the requirements from the users, analyze it, and then transform the requirements into functional specification requirements for the team of designers and developers.Identify the pros, cons, issues, obstacles, dependencies, and value associated with features and enhancements.Essential Experience:Experience in Agile practices.Good knowledge of the software development process, especially software requirement analysis.Positive attitude toward conducting research and applying emerging technologies.Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users.Good interpersonal and collaboration skills, strong team-working ability.Experience with project management software such as Atlassian JIRA.Desirable Experience:Working in a project environment – below the line.Exposure to cloud-based technology environments.Experience in government secure environments.Exposure to modern engineering approaches, such as CI/CD and DevSecOps.Qualifications in Computer Science, Business, Commerce, or Engineering preferred.Location: ACTContract term: 12 Months with possible extension.Security Requirements: To be eligible for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen with Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.How to Apply:Please upload your resume to apply.
