About the job Business Analyst Job Closing Date: 12 March 2024 Estimated Start Date: 1 July 2024 Initial Contract Duration: 12 months Extension Options: Flexible Location : ACT Working Arrangements: ACT Citizenship Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen Security Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain NV1 Submission Requirements: Resume; Responses to Selection Criteria (see below), Referees or written referee reports The AFP requires an experienced Business Analyst to work with the Covert & Technical Operations (CTO) Change Program to deliver the Request Management System (RMS) capability. The role requires services delivered in collaboration with and under the supervision of nominated AFP personnel, consisting of the following: Analyse and map processes and information flows of the existing RMS. Conduct stakeholder engagement, and collaborate with technical specialists, project members and business users to document and validate business requirements. Produce functional and non-functional specifications, use cases and scenarios for a future RMS. Manage business stakeholders and act as a conduit between the business and the program/project team. Assist with the development of materials required for procurement, and assist evaluation of potential replacement RMS solutions as required. Business/System Analysis and Business Design. Requirements elicitation and facilitating workshops. Work effectively in a small team environment. Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members; and Ability to record and maintain files/information by AFP requirements.
