Location: Canberra, Australian Capital Territory Type: Contract Job #16579 About the role Our government client is seeking a Business Analyst to assist with the guidance of the development of system and business requirements for the extension of their audit platform. Key responsibilities Work closely with business analysts from partner programs within the department to understand required system integrations and dependencies.     Supporting timely user engagement throughout the different phases of Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live; including the provision of ongoing business and technical advice. Convert the conceptual/theoretical model of a service/product, into technically sound product features/requirements. Develop artefacts and diagrams to define and document user needs and system concepts and functionality. Write user stories/PBIs for development, maintain alignment with features, dependencies within stories; deliver recommendations on the sequence and relative prioritisation of development of product features. Highly desirable criteria Extensive experience in business analysis for large scale transformations Ability to define and document business needs, problems and requirements and translate into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria Demonstrable experience in solving complex problems based on evidence, analysis, and investigation   Skills and experience Extensive experience in business analysis for large scale transformations. Demonstrable experience in solving complex problems based on evidence, analysis, and investigation. Influencing and guiding decisions with senior stakeholders.
