What you will be doing As a Business Analyst / Test Analyst role you will focus on gathering and testing for projects in the Steelmaking Coal department.
Responsibilities include conducting stakeholder engagements, mapping processes, documenting requirements as well as supporting system design and training.
The testing component involves creating and managing UAT, logging bugs, and ensuring smooth project to completion.
The role aims to deliver high-quality IT applications that support the company's commitment to safe and efficient mining operations.
What you will need To be successful for this role you would need to have proven experience in the BA/ UAT deliverables.
This position requires adaptability, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to manage testing and bug resolution for complex projects.
You role will include: Conducting stakeholder engagement sessions and workshops Drafting and documenting business and functional requirements Mapping current and future state processes Coordinating with solution architects for system design and enhancements Developing test scenarios, UAT plans, and executing end-to-end testing Logging and tracking bugs, managing UAT sessions, and coordinating bug resolution Training end-users and supporting go-live readiness Ensuring alignment of requirements with organizational objectives What you will need: 5+ years in business analysis and system testing, preferably in Agile environments.
Strong experience in IT solution design, process mapping, and requirements elicitation.
A relevant degree in IT or Computer Science.
Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., SharePoint) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
