Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving feature enhancement projects that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a strong understanding of technology, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into detailed project requirements. Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for enhancement. Document functional and non-functional requirements for new features and enhancements. Work closely with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables. Assist in prioritising features based on business value, technical feasibility, and resource availability. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and the technology team. Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations. Conduct regular meetings and workshops to gather feedback and ensure requirements are being met. Collaborate with developers and designers to create detailed solution designs. Develop user stories, use cases, process flows, and wireframes to support the development process. Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Define and execute test plans to ensure feature enhancements meet business requirements. Coordinate with QA teams to perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing. Identify and resolve defects, ensuring a high-quality end product. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Provide post-implementation support to address any issues and ensure smooth adoption of new features. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-focused environment. Proven track record of successfully delivering feature enhancement projects. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organisation. Proficiency in project management tools and techniques. Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is preferred. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Preferred Skills: Experience with business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar. Knowledge of industry-standard modeling techniques (e.g., UML). Understanding of UX/UI principles.
