Hutchies is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our hard working team based in our Toowong office on a full time permanent basis.
As the Business Analyst, you play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technology and business. Reporting to the IT Manager, your responsibilities include understanding both domains deeply and effectively communicating and collaborating with stakeholders from both areas.

As a Business Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
Practical knowledge of Agile Project ManagementWork with the key business teams, develop, and document the business requirements for the project and manage requirement traceability across the lifecycle of the projectOrganise, facilitate, and co-facilitate workshops to extract business requirements by working closely with key business stakeholders and software developersWrite clear, concise, and actionable user stories and acceptance criteriaAssist in developing the business cases, project plans and testing strategies for implementation projectsWork with team members to identify, mitigate, and resolve project issues, risks, and dependenciesTo be successful in this role, you should have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field5-10 years' experience in a similar roleExperience in Agile or Scrum development methodologiesProficiency in requirements management software, such as Jira or ConfluenceExcellent analytical and problem solving skillDemonstrated experience working on complex projects with system integrations, significant change management and data migration activitiesExperience in developing 'as is' and 'to be' business process documentation using BPMN notation to discover, analyse, improve, and implement business processesDemonstrated ability in establishing and building relationships with business managers, subject matter experts and IT service providersStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsProfessional written and verbal communication skillsStrong relationship building with all relevant stakeholders both technical and non technicalConstruction Industry experience (desirable)Knowledge of programming languages and software development methodologies (desirable)Process automation and workflows (desirable)Agency submissions won't be considered for this position.
