OverviewOne of our highly regarded clients is seeking a talented Business Analyst as they look to implement the next stage of their digital delivery.You will be part of a small Federal Government team and will be responsible for:Ensure business or system requirements and user needs are clearly defined and documented with clear, testable acceptance criteria.Identify and articulate design options, system workflows, and associated rationale.Facilitate workshops and meetings to define new business processes or identify opportunities for process improvements.Manage complex stakeholder relationships and maintain effective networks.Work with business areas and multiple scrum teams responsible for Agile delivery of IT services and products.Support the scrum team in a rapid delivery environment, demonstrating flexibility to deliver sprint goals.Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be Australian Citizens to be found suitable.What is on OfferJanuary 2025 start6 month contract with long-term extensionsCanberra based with some WFH flexibilityCandidates with the following skills and experiences are encouraged to apply:Experience as a Business or System Analyst, working across software delivery.Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with a technical and non-technical audience and influence stakeholders with competing interests.Experience in workshop facilitation and interviews.Experience in the analysis of complex business problems in large scale, transformation programs of work within a government context.Strong knowledge of techniques and artifacts to support Agile delivery (definition of done, user stories, Gherkin, backlog refinement).Execute work in line with DTA's Service Design and Delivery process and the Department's SAFe delivery model.High level of proficiency with Azure DevOps and Miro.If interested, please apply directly through the links provided.
