Business Analyst - Financial Markets Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated functional Business Analyst with a deep understanding of financial markets. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving forward FM projects, strategic initiatives and acting as the key conduit between business and technology Qualifications 3 + years experience as a Business Analyst Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred. Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry, with a focus on financial markets. Strong understanding of financial instruments and market dynamics, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign exchange. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) to manipulate and analyze large datasets (advantageous) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
