Roles and ResponsibilitiesBusiness/Data AnalysisDocument high quality data requirements documentation that are approved and accepted by business sponsorsWork closely with Information Management Architecture, Data Governance and Support to ensure proposed solutions adhere to data governance standardsReview business requirements as received and provide feedback to ensure completeness and adequacy of the requirements to provide meaningful and accurate estimates for Information Management delivery.Process Improvement & StrategyUnderstand the internal customers' business processes, identify opportunities and provide effective cost-saving and efficient solutions.Understanding business strategy and influencing alignment of Information Management strategy with business strategy.Assist the business areas in developing a deeper understanding of Data Management developments in the industry and how to best leverage data technology roadmaps to deliver on business vision.Estimation Management (under guidance of IM Consulting Lead)Be a point of contact for all business forums to assess and advise on new initiativesWork with IM management and business stakeholders to ensure business impacts and opportunities from data related changes are well understood and managed appropriately.Prepare discovery and delivery t-shirt size and Order of Magnitude (OoM) estimates, as well as distribute to required business stakeholders in a timely mannerFacilitate regular feature estimates and handover sessions with delivery teamsPro-actively communicate / update stakeholders on the progress of their requestsReport on metrics relating to the number of requests received, approved for funding, and deliveredStakeholder ManagementEnsuring that stakeholders of the IM function are kept informed of any impacts from scheduled releases or environment changes.Pro-actively manage stakeholder expectationsFacilitating meetings and workshops with Program Managers, Project Managers, Delivery Leads etcQualification, Experience and Skills RequiredMust Have:Hands on and demonstrated skills in defining data requirements and performing analytical activities/report prototypingStrong quantitative and analytical skillsTechnical knowledge of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Reporting technologies and Cloud SolutionsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsTertiary qualification in Information Technology, or equivalent experience in a related businessDesirable :Experience in business partnering or consulting, utilizing a services orientation and a strong demonstrable customer focus.Working experience on a Cloud technology.SAS, MicroStrategy and Tableau experienceALEX solutions knowledgeCapabilityService & Delivery Focus - Delivers efficient and high-quality service and solutionsCommunicating and Influencing - Communicates constructively to share information, explore possibilities, and achieve outcomesLearning agility - ability and willingness to learn quickly and implement learnings to improve processes and business outcomesInnovation - Improves work practices and process through original and fresh ideas to achieve better outcomesExcellent communication and planning skillsOrganization skills - ability to multitask and ensure that all tasks are completed to the appropriate deadlinesCustomer focus - keeping the customer at front of mind when developing plans and identifying opportunitiesProblem-solving skills
