Business Analyst - Data Centre Exit

About the role – 6 Month Contract The Business Analyst will assist with the exit of EnergyAustralia's data centre to finalize our Cloud Enablement strategy.
Working closely with technical & business stakeholders, this role will be crucial in enabling a seamless transition out of the last data centre.
Additional responsibilities include:
Gathering available data, insights &/or reports to streamline a smooth on-prem to cloud exit.Working closely with Solution Architect, Engineers, and other Technical/Business Subject Matter Experts to deliver various solutions with a strong focus on customer experience.Writing, executing, and managing user stories and acceptance criteria capturing functional and non-functional requirements.Identifying, documenting, resolving, and escalating delivery issues, dependencies, risks, and decisions.Facilitating and/or contributing to various Agile ceremonies (e.g., standup, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, backlog grooming/refinement, user story estimation, sprint showcase).About You: You will be a creative and analytical individual with excellent communication prowess who can engage with and positively influence a variety of key stakeholders.
You will have some of the following experience:
Proven experience delivering similar technical data transformations.Experience with analysis for 'lift and shift' application migration to Cloud (AWS or Azure) projects.Vendor management experience & ability to communicate with technical specialists (Architects & Engineers) and business stakeholders.Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certifications (CBAP, IIBA).Hands-on experience using Jira/Confluence for documenting and tracking requirements.Ability to understand complex technical concepts and present them in simple terms to non-technical team members and stakeholders.Why Us: At EnergyAustralia, we are committed to providing an inclusive culture so our employees can bring their whole selves to work and have a sense of belonging.
