3 days onsite weekly EDRMS, SharePoint, Content Manager Our client, a large Federal Government department based in Civic, ACT, requires an experienced Business Analyst for a 6 month contract.
Duties Create viable specifications and acceptance criteria.
Develop business cases based on information gathered through engagement activities.
Work closely with business areas to gain a detailed understanding of business needs.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and service providers to determine high level requirements.
Document current and future state capabilities.
Produce relevant documentation applicable to delivering business outcomes.
Providing detailed technical and professional advice in relation to complex problems, including presentations and walk-throughs.
Support the development of testing documentation and testing activities, where required; and Support the director and business leads with other project related tasks as directed.
Selection Criteria Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within the Australian Government supporting requirements management through to testing, training and implementation activities and ensuring the successful delivery of overall business and technology solutions.
25% Strong analysis and critical thinking skills as well as the proven ability to comprehend and document business processes, functional specifications, use cases and user manuals.
25% Strong communication and facilitation skills and a proven ability to lead consultation effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
25% Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team with excellent organisational skills.
25% Desirable criteria A working knowledge of, and recent experience using, an agile development methodology.
Relevant qualifications or business analyst certifications.
