Business Analyst - BEN+ Transformation Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, Melbourne, Australia 12 month - Full Time, Fixed Term Opportunity About the role We're making a choice to uplift our risk management capabilities, culture and processes and be a better bank so we can make risk-informed decisions to grow and continually develop our offerings to best support our customers. The BEN+ Program is a transformation program being delivered (using Agile methods) through various transformation workstreams to uplift key risk processes, to enhance our risk capability in a fast-paced environment. The Business Analyst will report to the BEN+ Program Director/Lead. As a Business Analyst you'll get to... Perform research and interviews and business workshops to determine business requirements and then translate into epics and stories. Draft and distribute project communications or support Organisation Change management where necessary. Work to drive ultimate utilization, faster adoption and higher proficiency on change impacted on personnel in the organization for business results to be achieved. Work with Business System Owners, Process Owners, Domain owners, Business SMEs, etc to perform gap analysis against 10 Data Management principles. Help the project meet schedule, business, and budget objectives. Assist the scrum master in running agile processes - backlog grooming, sprint planning, retros. To be successful in the role, you'll have: Previous work experience in end to end requirements gathering, analysis and process/systems implementation. Demonstrable experience effectively influencing and leading multiple levels of an organization through functional boundaries. Strong communication skills, including prioritizing, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building. Business analysis experience including experience with Business Process Re-engineering/improvement techniques (e.g. TQM, Six Sigma, Lean). Previous working knowledge of Data Analysis/Business Intelligence concepts (e.g. data manipulation, reporting, spreadsheets, dashboards, and data analysis). Understanding of key AGILE concepts and/or experience with leading or operating in an AGILE environment.
