Join the Service Design and Improvement Branch, where our focus is on enhancing internal service delivery processes and systems to provide exceptional experiences for participants.
Our mission is to identify process improvements, design efficient solutions, and implement changes that benefit both participants and stakeholders.
By collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, we drive simplification, improve timelines, and deliver quality outcomes.
This branch plays a key role in shaping the strategic vision, fostering consistency, equity, and sustainability within the Scheme.
About the Role
As an APS6 Business Analyst, you will handle complex tasks with autonomy, guided by legislation, policies, and procedures.
This role requires someone with initiative and sound judgment to interpret legislation and apply best practices, providing expert advice and operational support.
As a key representative for the branch, you will engage with both internal and external stakeholders, assisting in strategic planning, project management, and policy development to support our goals.
Analyse and document current business processes to establish baseline understanding.
Produce reports, interpret data, and analyse results using statistical techniques.
Coordinate reporting requirements to track divisional and branch performance outcomes.
Develop business functional requirements in line with contractual, legislative, and policy standards.
Translate business metrics to optimise customer experience and support internal stakeholders.
Design and lead workshops and communication sessions to support information sharing.
Implement governance processes, dashboards, and systems to track performance against targets.
Manage audit and risk processes, including implementing controls and resolving issues.
Support transition of business requirements to development teams and conduct verification testing.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
Data Analysis: Ability to analyse data to identify trends and insights.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile or Kanban frameworks.
Business Analysis Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Process Improvement: Experience in recommending and implementing process improvements.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary team members.
Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
Must be an
Australian Citizen.
