Key Accountabilities Conduct a comprehensive analysis of Terminal Operating System (TOS) functionality and assess performance metrics.
Evaluate Zodiac functionality in comparison to the current TOS.
Provide recommendations to optimize the current TOS processes, enhancing efficiency, and driving success in key projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
Develop TOS modelling for scenario analysis, business forecasting and reporting tools to support strategic/investment decision-making and planning processes.
Identify bottlenecks, risk and inefficiencies in processes, and propose and document optimized workflows and process improvements.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting terminal performance, and incorporate relevant insights into analysis and recommendations Assist in testing new systems and features for business alignment, provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure systems and applications meet specified business requirements.
Collaborate with project managers to monitor project timelines and budgets, identify potential risks, resolve project issues, and provide analytical support to ensure project success.
Create detailed and clear documentation of business requirements, develop process flowcharts, use cases, and user stories for clarity, and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.
Provide rapid and accurate insights for executive requests and support strategic initiatives with timely and relevant data.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, IT, or a related field.
Good understanding of Terminal operating processes and industry regulations.
Minimum 3+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience from Ports and Terminals environment.
Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense).
Familiarity with business analysis methodologies and Agile/Scrum concepts.
Proficient in process mapping (LEAN, Six Sigma) and visualizing workflows.
Expertise in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, and visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, QlikSense).
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Attention to detail and quality focused.
Basic project management abilities and task prioritization.
