About the Role As Business Analyst (Admissions), you will be responsible for supporting the Admissions function by using data and insights provided by various stakeholders to identify areas for improvement. You will be required to produce qualitative and quantitative reports using highly developed skills to cleanse and manipulate data sourced from both internal and external data sets.
You will coordinate the development and delivery of a range of performance analysis and reporting services on both onshore and offshore student recruitment. This includes market intelligence, data sets and reporting structures for benchmarking of key performance indicators against the sector (global and domestic).
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive analysis of admissions tasks and processes for postgraduate coursework, focusing on improvements in admission processes and procedures Performing in depth monitoring and reporting against local performance data, including application turnaround times, agent performance, application conversion rates Consulting regularly with staff in the Divisional Groups, Planning and Operations, to ensure alignment and leverage existing data and information Monitoring and reporting against external sector performance data, market environmental data and competitor intelligence Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is highly skilled in analysing data and intelligence, preparing reports and developing presentations. You will have high-level oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you will demonstrate adept problem-solving abilities and organisational skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex tasks with competing deadlines.
You will also have:
A degree in business analysis and process design or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education Highly developed skills in data manipulation, analysis and visualisations Demonstrated experience in business analysis and/or process design in a complex organisation Knowledge of qualifications, education frameworks and admissions practices For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements please refer to the attached PD.
This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
