Initial 12+ mth contract with likely extension paying up to $1,000/day Brisbane city fringe with flexibility to WFH 2-3 days per week Our client, a large complex organisation within the Utilities sector, are currently seeking a Business Analysts for a large complex system implementation. Skills and experience required: Experience with Asset Management and/or Ellipse product suite Recent experience working with Salesforce deployments - ideally in the CMS space Recent experience working with business stakeholders, technical stakeholders and external system partners Experience with Data Models, Data Warehouse and Data Lakes Experience with Integration and mapping data flows Demonstrated experience delivering a broad suite of business analysis deliverables/products on multiple complex ICT projects (preferably within the utilities sector). Over 3 - 6 years. Demonstrated experience with complex problem solving by gathering and analysing appropriate information and influencing others to reach a satisfactory solution within designated timeframes. The Role The Business Analyst role is responsible for undertaking business analysis activities to provide information, advice, and support to enable the successful delivery of large scale, complex projects involving Digital and Information management and ICT. Key Responsibilities include: Business Case Development Leads the development and presentation of business design and functional requirements in collaboration with the Digital & Information Leadership Team, Portfolio Board, and senior customers for proposed and current projects to support the development and continuous review of business cases. Analysis of As Is and To Be Documents highly complex 'as is' and 'to be' processes within the context of ICT projects and in alignment with the Digital & Information project and program management framework. Accurately describe and document the changes required to implement the projects 'to be' capability. Requirements Management Plan and coordinate at the project level, the identification and elicitation of requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals. Feasibility Studies Using critical, analytical thinking, conducts complex feasibility studies from a technological perspective for the costing and appraisal of new investments and existing initiatives. Document findings to complete cost-benefit analysis on implementing changes to business processes, products, or business unit structure. Solutions Analysis Identify and evaluate complex business requirements and research application of information system solutions to optimise our customers business outputs. Research and recommended variations to policy and procedural matters that could affect the efficient operation of the recommended solution. User Experience Analysis Determines the approaches required to analyse and design existing business processes and future business processes, within the context of an information system solution, identifying stakeholder groups that would be impacted by change. Stakeholder Engagement Manages strong working relationships with Digital & Information colleagues, customers across the organisation and external stakeholders to drive the successful delivery of projects. Digital Culture Creation Integrate digital capabilities into processes, projects, and team dynamics. Execute and champion transformational projects intended to develop a digital culture. Leadership and Direction Explains the local action plan to support Digital and Information team members in their understanding of what needs to be done and how this relates to the broader business plan and the organisation's strategy, mission, and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals. Demonstrated experience communicating with customers on the appropriate level to ensure understanding, providing practical and business relevant advice that meets short- and long-term needs.
