THE OPPORTUNITY Business Development Manager to lead a regional office focused on growth.
In this role, you will supervise a team of experienced managers and engage with a substantial portfolio of long-term clients across various sectors.
As the Business Development Manager, you will oversee operations, mentor your team and act as a key link between business owners and management, all while working in a supportive environment that leverages modern, cloud-based systems for enhanced client service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Mentor managers with 8-10 years' experience Supervise teams and address complex issues Liaise between business owners and managers Drive operational efficiency and business growth Manage internal and external stakeholders, finding solutions for client needs Day-to-day management of the team, including workflow and job reviews Provide exceptional client service as the first point of contact Conduct technical research to offer taxation and business advice to clients Review financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements for high-net-worth families and their entities EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field Must hold CA or CPA certification Over 10+ years' experience in Business Advisory within a mid-tier or top-tier professional services firm At least 10 years leadership experience, overseeing client interactions and mentoring junior team members Extensive knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities Proficient in using various accounting software platforms, including Xero, MYOB and APS THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Access to professional development resources, such as study days and educational allowances.
