As part of the Business Advisory team, you will provide outstanding services to local and international clients across a diverse range of industries. You will be a crucial contributor to our fast-growing business and will help to build our future as well as your career.
Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups, including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSFsPreparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statementsWorking as part of a team where you will work closely with other senior business services accountantsDelegating and reviewing junior workUse of MYOB suite, Xero, Class SuperLiaising with clients and other external service providersDevelop your knowledge with U Learn, the Forvis Mazars individualised learning platformAbout you :
Ideally, have a minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in Business Services/ Advisory Accounting with an Australian accounting firmExperience in working with mid to large-size clients essentialPreparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statementsWorking as part of a team where you will work closely with other business services accountantsDelegating and reviewing junior workLiaising with clients and other external service providersCompleted a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or equivalent) and Chartered Accountants Program (or CPA or ACCA)Good working experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, MYOB and XeroWorking knowledge of Class Super is highly regardedAbility to lead the team and work with othersConfidence in dealing with clients and technical issuesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skillsWillingness to learnWhy join us :
