The Opportunity The Business Administration Support Officer (Youth Services) will provide a comprehensive, coordinated administrative service for the Maribyrnong Youth Services team, and the operational requirements of our facility {Phoenix Youth Hub).
As the front line contact for Maribyrnong Youth Services they will be responsible for the day to day functions of the customer service area of Phoenix, and contribute to the effective use of the facility.
Key Responsibilities Provide a high level of customer service, and administrative support to the Youth Services team and visiting customers, in order to achieve the delivery of effective and quality services to young people. Develop and implement administration guidelines, systems and forms as appropriate to service delivery. Ensure regular cash reconciliation, banking, raising purchase orders, issuing and payment of invoices are achieved in a timely way to meet Council's audit and funding body requirements. Prepare and provide information to young people, parents, agencies and the wider community that is accurate and timely. Execute the timely preparation and circulation of correspondence, memos, minutes and reports related to the Maribyrnong Youth Services to the Coordinator Youth Services and Team Leaders. Support and provide guidance for casual administration staff in relation to Phoenix and Youth Services requirements. Assist the Coordinator of Youth Services with payroll duties as requested About You To be considered for this role, you will have the following: Tertiary qualifications in Office Administration, or related field, and relevant work experience in a customer service environment Experience in developing and implementing efficient and effective administrative procedures and systems. Experience in the day-to-day operation of a Facility for Young People and associated administrative and operational support. Level 2 First Aid Certificate. Why Choose Maribyrnong?
