About the Role :

Reporting to the Corporate Affairs Manager, the Corporate Affairs Advisor is part of a team of trusted advisers within the business who are focused on enhancing Woodside's reputation and protecting our social license to operate.

This position will be responsible for Environment Plan Stakeholder Consultation Delivery in support of Woodside's activities in Australia and meeting regulatory requirements.
Working closely within the Corporate Affairs – Environmental Approvals team and alongside multiple teams (including Environment, Legal and First Nations team), this role will deliver stakeholder consultation in support of Woodside's environmental planning approvals in Australia.

This is a 2 year fixed term contract role.

You will be a collaborative team player who works closely and constructively with the Corporate Affairs team and across the broader Woodside business while also building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities :

Responsible for delivery and co-ordination of stakeholder consultation methodology, and communication activities including preparation of external materials for targeted and broad-based stakeholder consultation and messaging.

Analysis and write-up of consultation outcomes to be included in Environment Plans.

Utilisation of CRM tool to deliver consultation to external stakeholders.

Support government advocacy and engagement regarding environmental plans stakeholder consultation in alignment with regulatory requirements.

Support Corporate Affairs Australia strategy and governance.

Environment plan stakeholder consultation delivery.

Write-up and analysis of consultation outcomes.

Following processes and development of consultation materials using existing templates.

Support community and stakeholder consultation.

Skills & Experience :

Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Extensive prior experience working in corporate affairs related roles.

Understanding of the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Environment) Regulations as it relates to consultation.

Tertiary qualification in communication, journalism, commerce, legal or related fields.

Demonstrated analytical skills.

Preparedness to drive outcomes in support of overall development milestones.

Understanding of stakeholders issues that interface with Woodside's business and has interest in our role in the community.
