Welding Surveyor – New Building Location : Adelaide
Tenure : 12 months
What we're looking for We are seeking a qualified Welding Inspector to join our team on a fixed-term basis until December 2025. This role supports our growing defence-related new building projects, specifically in collaboration with BAESMA.
Key Responsibilities Include : Witnessing welder qualification testing on a daily basis.Conducting visual inspections of completed test plates daily.Signing off welder qualification test record sheets daily.Witnessing destructive testing of samples at Intertek three times a week.Signing off welder qualification test certificates weekly.Role Details : The position follows a 9-day fortnight schedule, aligned with BAE operations (RDO).No weekend or public holiday coverage is required unless mutually agreed.Site attendance is required from 09:00 to 15:00 (minimum).Weekly lab visits to review welding results, integrated into site attendance hours.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to contribute to high-impact defence projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
