Your Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse and Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic supply chain team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our warehouse operations, managing logistics processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration with our 3PL partners. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, coordinating storage capacity, managing returns, and driving continuous improvement in our distribution processes. Your expertise will be vital in managing daily warehouse activities.
Responsibilities: Report on performance and corrective actions of all service providers (daily, weekly, and monthly review cycle). Storage space capacity planning with the warehouse provider. Collaborative forecast with account team and market demand planner. Quality coordinator for Delivery Holds, scrapping activities, rework, etc. Manage outbound unhappy flow / exceptions (e.g. rush shipment, complaints). Monitor inbound logistics and assist in documentation if needed. Performance management with the warehouse provider, for KPIs in provider's contract & Philips KPIs. Support transformation projects, like introducing new flows and automation. Manage returns process. Ensure inventory accuracy between 3PL WMS and Philips SAP system. Oversee stock movement transactions if required. Oversee 3PL daily operations and governance. Coordinate quarterly audit and stock take for Philips warehouse. Assist in setting up operations with new 3PL providers. Monitor and resolve issues related to warehouse performance, logistics, and reverse logistics. Proactively manage distribution costs. To succeed in this role, you'll need: Degree-level education in logistics or equivalent field. 3 to 5 years of experience in warehousing and distribution processes, preferably within medical devices industries. Good knowledge of SAP software (SAP SBO / PRD). Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office software. Good knowledge of Power BI dashboards (preferred). Availability to work from our warehouse located in Hoxton Park once per week, on average. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced operational environment. Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency. Experience in change management and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. Solutions-focused, creative, and innovative with strong organizational and planning skills. Ability to critically think through multiple-step processes and follow up on details. Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills. Results-oriented and highly analytical individual. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
