Some flexibility is required due to Transurban being a 24 / 7, 365-day operation.

You will lead and develop a skilled team to deliver additional / Project works and manage safety, commercial and operational risk in delivering all major repairs and additional works as engaged by the client and in accordance with agreed requirements of safety, time, quality, and cost, including monitoring and reporting against each.
Strengths in project, people and maintenance management are paramount to fulfilling your accountabilities.
Plan and deliver works in accordance with the Services Allocation Matrix, CoMS, Scope of Services and Annual Works Program Prepare RFTs for subcontractors, detailing scope, program, and method of delivery Prepare proposals to deliver additional & project works and liaise with client to refine and evaluate scope and delivery Implement effective project controls and mobilisations, including identifying core service efficiencies, subcontractor arrangements and Maximo data capture Oversee delivery of projects ensuring tendered margins are achieved and works are delivered safely, and project specific outcomes achieved, including technical specifications, program, traffic management, quality etc.

Experience in a similar leadership role Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or construction related discipline Strong commercial acumen Sound project control and effective risk management Analytical and strategic thinking capability Solid experience in high level report writing Interpreting engineering drawings, standards, and specifications, and whole of life asset management Construction white card Resilience, personal drive, and motivation Technical Competencies
Road and Asset rehabilitation / construction / maintenance management experience Understanding of first principles estimating with a broad background across civil / multidisciplinary disciplines preferably with both additional works (construction) and maintenance / operation Experience delivering works under an AS2124 contract highly desirable About Ventia
