Qualifications & Experience
Proficient use of Medical Practice Software — Shexie Platinum Proven experience in Medical Practice Management Knowledge of medical office procedures and billing practices Excellent organisational and multitasking skills Strong communication skills with a patient-focused approach Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Ability to work as a team player Tasks & Responsibilities
Managing appointments and inquiries, patient triage, and communicating relevant information to patients, GPs and other health professionals Managing theatre operating lists, including liaising with Public and Private Hospitals Finance responsibilities - billing, invoicing, receipting, daily reconciliation, Medicare batching, private billing, debtor collection Overseeing medical supplies and equipment Promotion and marketing of the practice to relevant audiences and driving the expansion of the referral network Ensuring the practice IT systems are relevant and support the efficient functioning of the clinical service Maintaining robust administrative processes and ensuring compliance with relevant SOPs, Medicare, etc.
Development and continued review of practice systems, policies and procedures to maximise productivity in the workplace and patient care Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining accreditation Application Process
