TSPV - Capability Planning Manager – Lead a Strategic Transformation
Are you ready to shape the future of capability development and delivery? We are seeking an experienced Capability Planning Manager to join a high-performing team in Canberra. This role focuses on strategic advice for major programs, project planning, cost models, and procurement strategies in a secure environment.
Essential Tasks: Deliver portfolio, program, and project office services with strategic insights on capability planning. Provide advice on cost models, budget strategies, procurement approaches, and tender evaluations. Manage program/project finances, mitigate risks, and oversee change control and quality reporting. Lead teams and build capabilities through mentoring and stakeholder collaboration. Key Criteria: Minimum 5 years of experience in major/complex capability development, preferably in Defence or NIC. Expertise in organisational and communication skills. Proven ability to translate complex technical details into clear strategic advice. Demonstrated leadership skills to manage diverse stakeholders effectively. Location: On-site, Canberra.
Contract Duration: 12 months with 1 x 12-month extension options.
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role.
