The Reserve Bank of Australia is embarking on a Core Modernisation program which involves a major upgrade of core technology infrastructure.
This program is a technology-driven initiative to consolidate, migrate, and/or replace core infrastructure components across our data centres.
It requires Bank-wide involvement for the discovery, migration, and/or uplift of business applications/services and IT infrastructure, including databases, servers, and network components.

We are seeking an experienced BI Technical Lead to join our dynamic data team on a significant program of work.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data modelling, data architecture, and the design of scalable, high-performance data solutions.
In this role, you will:
Lead efforts to design and optimize data structures.
Build complex data models.
Ensure the integrity and quality of data across multiple systems.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure that data solutions meet organizational needs.
Your skills in data design/modelling, database design and administration, and data preparation for visualization using MS SQL, PowerBI DAX, and Cloudera data flow would be highly desirable.
You will also possess advanced technical expertise in database management, optimization, and troubleshooting to contribute to the implementation of database solutions for enterprise-level applications and infrastructure migration.
