About the role As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will play a vital part in supporting the team during a period of exciting transformation. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to advance your career and take on a broader range of responsibilities within Talent Acquisition. You will be mentored by our experienced Talent Acquisition Partners, gaining exposure to the core fundamentals of recruitment and developing your skills in the field. This position is essential in enhancing our recruitment capabilities, assisting with administrative tasks, supporting system updates, ensuring the smooth rollout of new processes, whilst supporting the Manager of Talent Acquisition with daily tasks.
About the person As a motivated and proactive self-starter, you will confidently work independently while thriving in a professional environment. While prior recruitment experience is not essential, you will bring relevant experience that demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, intermediate to advanced computer proficiency, and a willingness to engage with and contribute to both the team and the wider organisation.
About People and Safety The People and Safety group are focused on ensuring workforce well-being and success through strategies such as talent attraction, diversity, and collaboration, while also prioritising health and safety efforts to prevent harm and promote overall well-being and career development.
Your responsibilities for this opportunity Fostering trust with our people, customers and community by providing expert advice and service that ensure we effectively communicate and engage audiences with our business strategy and its delivery across South Australia, every day.
You will: Collaborate effectively to ensure team goals are achieved by providing input into decision making and problem solving. Assist with coordination of team meetings, events, and training sessions, including development of agenda, minutes etc. Support the Talent Acquisition team with pre-employment checks. Coordinate interview bookings, panels, rooms and collation of completed interview guides. Contribute to the review of recruitment policies and procedures that enable the achievement of organisational imperatives. Respond to employees, people leaders and external candidates queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner according to SLA's. Maintain our key software with accurate information and seek opportunities to improve. Continuously improve Recruitment document templates to ensure they are up to date and appropriate for business use. Your success in this role will come from: Strong work ethic, professionalism, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Critical thinking skills and a demonstrated ability to think innovatively to explore new ideas and problem solve. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders across the business. Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail. Highly computer literate with capabilities in Microsoft Office suite of tools and HR related technology platforms.
