As a System Engineer, you'll work on designing, building, and supporting continuous delivery platforms that empower our teams across Suncorp.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across Technology & Operations to drive automation, enhance development enablement platforms, and ensure seamless technology integration.
What you'll do
Contribute to the design and implementation of Technology & Operations strategies Assist in delivering a pipeline of work aligned with our Technology roadmap Drive automation and enable self-service across support activities Use Lean practices to continually improve and build resilient, robust platforms Create and maintain documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures and Knowledge Base articles Maintain compliance to governance and security standards, and assist in incident resolution Support disaster recovery planning and platform maintenance as required Perform on-call duties as required What you'll bring
Solid experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Go) Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Ruby) and knowledge of configuration management systems (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) Experience with package management systems such as Maven, Gradle, NPM.
Cloud engineering experience with AWS services Excellent understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
Strong relationship-building and consulting skills, with the ability to interpret customer requirements Familiarity with Agile methodologies and secure development tooling in enterprise environments.
Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Splunk will be an added bonus.
