As part of a Global team, this role is responsible for supporting all Flight Centre Travel Group pillars, brands and geographies in managing customer payment flows, including the commercial and technical set up of both in-store and ecommerce transactions, as well as managing customer fraud risk and related risk mitigation activities.
This role will take ownership and be the Subject Matter Expert of related fraud management tools / systems and provide commercial analysis of payment flows including areas such as authorisation rates, decline reasons, chargeback rates, merchant fee costs.
Day to day you'll be... Working on projects to implement new payment flows Reviewing and reporting on performance of live merchant accounts Monitoring fraud system rule performance and fraud system declines to analyse and understand trends Dealing with payments related queries from the business and analysing merchant fee costs Regular contact and involvement with other geographic regions of the Flight Centre group (e.g., NZ, UK, US, Canada, South Africa, Singapore) Establishing and managing new merchant facilities (both in-store and ecommerce) as required by the business System ownership and administration of primary payment service providers Overseeing payments processing and resolving payment issues Monitoring payment gateway performance and troubleshooting issues that arise, including working with internal technical experts and product vendors to resolve issues Working with the business to optimise the outcomes from payments flows, i.e., improved authorisation rates and conversion Using knowledge of payments technology to support the business in achieving better outcomes from payments Managing and monitoring all rules in fraud management systems Analysing fraud patterns and trends to anticipate and address emerging threats Understanding and targeting implementation of industry tools such as 3DS to manage fraud risk We'd love to hear from you if you have...
