Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for supporting accounting and administrative functions, ensuring smooth financial operations across Stratco QLD. This role will be ideal for someone with three years or more of commercial accounting experience looking to advance their career.RESPONSIBILITIESCompletion of monthly accounting procedures within the required deadlinesPreparation of monthly P&LPreparation of annual budgetsMaintain GL journal entries ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policiesReconcile accounts as requiredAnalysis of financial results and provision of proactive feedback to the management teamMonitor financial performance against budgets and forecastsAttend stock counts and ensure stock valuations are conducted in line with the corporate policiesPrepare daily operating reportsMonthly BAS returns and assist with FBT returns, working closely with the Corporate Finance Team to ensure taxation and reporting requirements are metProvide additional assistance to the Financial Controller and Management Accountants within the finance team as neededABOUT YOUEssential - Degree qualified in accountingDesirable - CA or CPADesirable - Minimum 3 years' commercial experienceDesirable - Manufacturing or Building industry experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with Peach, MYOB and Oracle is advantageousDetail oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlinesEager to learn and grow within a supportive finance teamOUR PHILOSOPHYWhilst manufacturing is our foundation, our team is our future.
