Business Development Manager - Heavy Civil Equipment Specialist Access Hire is a leading supplier of hire equipment, including an extensive range of elevated work platforms and access equipment for both hire and sale.

Our core business facilitates the hiring, selling, servicing, and transportation of Elevated Work Platforms, including Scissors, Boom Lifts, Telehandlers, and Forklifts to the Construction, Material Handling, and Mining Sectors.
With a national opportunity, we are expanding our fleet to include heavy civil equipment and are looking for an industry-experienced 'Yellow Gear' salesperson to specialise in our CAT equipment range that includes but is not limited to diggers, graders, dozers, loaders, and excavators.
As you will be kickstarting this specialised sales area for Access Hire, your first job is to get out there and establish a network, developing long-term relationships within the industry to position Access Hire as a major competitor in civil construction equipment throughout WA.
Key Responsibilities: Identifying new business opportunities and potential revenue streams. Building market share and developing new business. Establishing yourself as an industry client solution partner. Driving revenue growth to meet and exceed agreed-upon targets on a monthly and annual basis. Establishing and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders. Conducting customer site visits that strengthen business relationships. Responding to customer inquiries and providing accurate quotes and advice on hire and sales solutions. Liaising with clients to provide updates on job progress, delivery schedules, and any issues related to transport services or rentals. Minimum Requirements: Previous experience, ideally 2+ years, in a similar position with a successful track record for achieving results through influence. Experience with the sales and hire of 'Yellow Gear' is essential. Proven ability to build and foster strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, effectively meet deadlines and successfully prioritise work. Strong motivation to deliver an exceptional customer experience. A fun, energetic, and hardworking approach. Willingness to learn and be coached for success. Current and valid Driver's License.
