We are looking for a dynamic Senior Buyer to join us as a 12-month maternity leave cover.
In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the Head of Product and Lead Designer to develop and implement a product strategy that drives profitable growth while staying true to the SHEIKE brand.
You will be responsible for product performance analysis, market insights, and creating a product range that meets both financial targets and brand vision.
About the role...
Analyse product performance, market trends, and customer insights to drive profitable growth.
Develop and manage a commercial product range that aligns with company objectives, including category, pricing, and silhouettes.
Build strong supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery, while diversifying the product range.
Work closely with Design, Planning, Marketing, Retail, and Online teams to deliver market-leading product ranges, ensuring the customer is front of mind.
Stay updated on consumer trends and competitor activities, and apply these insights to the product strategy.
Lead the product selection and quantification process and ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Responsible for OTB management at a topline and category level.
Work closely with the Planning team on identifying stock movements and markdowns.
Adhere to critical path timelines to ensure stock is delivered at the right time to deliver a cohesive collection.
About you...
3-4 years experience in a similar role.
Strong technical confidence, with the ability to communicate articulately and effectively, applying influence across the business regarding production & product.
Demonstrate a proven ability to affect and manage change.
Strong background in product/buying with the ability to multi-task and demonstrate flexibility whilst being able to work independently.
Be passionate and enthusiastic about fashion with a distinct sense of trends, design and construction.
Be responsible with a "make it happen" approach.
Strong foundation in PC software, Microsoft Excel, visual/interface design using Adobe CS suites.
Must be highly detail oriented, organized, and possess the ability to set standards and execute, as well as having strong sense of priority and follow through skills, ensuring that deadlines are met.
Ability to work in a team-driven atmosphere with the ability to flex to personality styles and build strong working relationships internally & externally.
