AIR6500 is the RAAF's $3 billion program to develop a joint air battle management system that builds on the capabilities offered by Next Generation sensor and command and control systems. AIR6500 will create a fully networked 'system of systems' that synchronises air and missile defence operations in joint and coalition environments, maximising situational awareness and enhancing the speed of decision making across the battlespace.
Your responsibilities will include :
Contribute to the development, coordination of draft subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of materials / products and services including : RFQs and RFIs bid packages / quotations Task Priced / Survey & Quote Services Pre-Authorised Ad Hoc Services orders proposal analysis and evaluation selecting / recommending subcontractors negotiating subcontract provisions writing draft contract change proposals / tasking instructions resulting subcontracts or tasking artefacts Management and coordination of the provision of services from primary Subcontractor for the Program Contribute to the development of supplier relationships in support of current and future AIR6500 supply chain requirements in line with the relevant phases of the Program Oversee and support monthly internal and external subcontractor performance reporting Undertake and support subcontractor invoice / task management, including status reporting and invoicing transactions; including finance business activities About you :
Significant experience in a similar role performing subcontract management activities (i.e. subcontract development, negotiation, and management). Experience in one or more of the following would be highly regarded : Significant understanding and application of contracting and procurement principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Significant knowledge of Intellectual Property and Australian Industry Involvement activities. Significant experience in contract, legal and / or procurement administration. Special Requirements :
