About the role The Senior Specialist – Payroll Integration and Compliance will have responsibility to review the end-to-end payroll processes, including the running of the fortnightly pay. The role will be responsible for reviewing current and future processes and ensuring it meets the payroll compliance standards.
This involves documenting current and future state end-to-end process, identifying process controls, and implementing changes as part of the HRIS project or ongoing improvement initiatives to meet regulatory compliance.
What you will bring Substantial experience in a similar role with payroll management experience. A proven track record in developing, implementing, and monitoring payroll compliance, driving continuous business improvement, and providing innovative solutions to complex challenges with superior attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport within and between teams. Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Modern Awards, Fair Work Act, and National Employment Standards. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve complex payroll issues. Experience in working collaboratively with HR and legal colleagues in interpreting relevant industrial instruments and legislation.
