We are seeking a results-driven Senior Procurement Analyst to support our global procurement function by driving operational excellence, sourcing efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
About the Role
In this role, you will collaborate with Sourcing and Procurement Managers to execute end-to-end procurement processes, vendor management, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
You will be pivotal in analyzing procurement data, managing purchasing activities, and enhancing procurement systems and processes.
This role also involves coaching and supporting team members to maintain a high-performing procurement function.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Strategic Focus
Drive cost-saving initiatives, including cost avoidance and cost prevention.
Support strategic sourcing and go-to-market tender activities.
Operational Management
Manage the Procure-to-Pay process to ensure seamless procurement operations.
Raise purchase orders, track invoices, and ensure timely payments.
Conduct data analysis, develop procurement reports, and present actionable business insights.
Maintain procurement tools, including supplier databases, data classification systems, and procurement planners.
Oversee vendor onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with due diligence requirements.
Coach team members on procurement tools, processes, and data management.
Lead team activities in the absence of the Procurement Team Leader.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify areas of improvement.
Governance & Risk
Implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure governance, reporting, and control.
Enforce adherence to supplier management processes, including vendor risk management policies.
Skills & Experience
2-5 years of procurement analytics experience, with proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, macros, dashboards) and Power BI.
Strong understanding of IT and Tech procurement, including software, hardware, and vendor management.
Experience with procurement tools such as Ariba, Excel, and Gatekeeper.
Proven ability to manage IT financial budgets (Opex & Capex).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, finance, or related fields; CIPS certification is desirable but not essential.
