Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting) Full time We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team.
In this key role, you will collaborate closely with the operations team to drive financial performance and provide strategic insights that support our timber funds and operations.
You will be instrumental in delivering financial analysis, cost control, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the efficiency and profitability of the funds and timber manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities include: Partner with operational leaders in timber manufacturing to provide actionable financial insights, analysis, and recommendations that drive operational performance and profitability.
Manage, mentor, and build capability of the finance team.
Develop and present comprehensive management reports, including dynamic dashboards and polished presentations tailored for senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and impact.
Lead the development and management of budgets, financial forecasts, and performance reporting for funds across multiple company entities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial objectives with operational goals.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Drive continuous improvements to reporting and systems.
Conduct detailed financial analysis to uncover trends, deliver actionable insights, and identify strategic opportunities that support business growth and decision-making.
About You: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a finance business partnering role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Tertiary qualifications and CA or CPA qualification.
Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders and senior management.
Strong commercial acumen and experience working with senior leadership on strategic decisions.
Flexible and adaptable to a changing environment.
Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
