Senior Business Development Manager - Remote Energy The Senior Business Development Manager (BD Manager) will be responsible for driving the growth of new business and expansion of current services across the portfolio. This role involves identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, leading projects, and negotiating and converting organic opportunities with new and existing customers.
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Development Manager to join a market-leading organization within the remote energy sector, focusing on the Mining sector. The successful candidate will drive new business growth, expand existing services across the portfolio, and forge strategic partnerships.
What you'll do : Implementing strategic plans to develop energy projects in target market segments. Effectively managing new projects, acquisitions, or joint ventures from project inception through to contract execution / final investment decision. Undertaking economic and financial investigations to support investment cases. Preparing and presenting investment cases that align with investment criteria to Executives. What you bring : Strong technical understanding of remote energy and power generation. Bid construction, tendering, and auction procedures, including acquisitions. Complex contract negotiation, administration, and management. A working knowledge of the Australian energy and mining sectors. Experience with long sales cycles, identifying opportunities and taking your client on the journey. Demonstrable track record managing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Consistently striving to ensure the best possible outcome.
