Transmission Stringing Supervisor - Billion Dollar Project
Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
The Role :
Secure Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Stringing Supervisor to join the team on a 14 / 7 roster at one of the work fronts on the 700km Project EnergyConnect.
This opportunity could suit a local candidate from Mildura or Wagga, or someone interested in a FIFO or DIDO opportunity.
As a Stringing Supervisor, you will work with a diverse multidisciplinary team, cohesively delivering Project EnergyConnect.
The Stringing Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and supervision of all stringing activities in their allocated work front.
Daily, you will monitor the KPIs and stringing activities on allocated work fronts while ensuring a high level of safety by fostering a culture of open communication, understanding, and participation in safety and quality, while delivering timely results.
Primary Accountabilities :
Actively participates in developing a construction HSSE culture that integrates safety and environmental awareness as a natural part of the job. Oversees the safe delivery of the stringing work. Ensures that allocated resources remain productive. Promotes proactive safety and environmental awareness for all personnel under your supervision. Reports to the Construction Manager on all matters relating to quality elements of construction works. Directs subcontractors. Skills & Experience :
Minimum of 2 years as a Stringing Supervisor. Extensive experience in all aspects of stringing. Thorough understanding of Australian OHS legislative requirements. Driver's License. We're building a diverse workforce.
