We are expanding our operations in Australia and are currently recruiting a Risk Analyst.
As a Risk Analyst, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safety and security of detainees, staff, and facility operations by supporting a robust risk assessment process. Working closely with the National Risk Manager and key stakeholders, you will conduct comprehensive and transparent risk assessments, supporting informed decision-making that balances historical, current, and context-specific factors. In this role, you'll work to maintain high standards of compliance with relevant legislation and policies, supporting an environment that prioritises dignity, respect, and security.
In your new role, you will: Conduct thorough risk assessments, integrating dynamic inputs and evidence-based observations to inform security decisions. Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe, secure environment. Develop plans, strategies, and schedules to support continuous improvement in risk management practices. Actively participate in quality management processes, ensuring risk assessments meet rigorous standards. Contribute to meeting departmental KPIs through detailed documentation, accurate reporting, and collaboration with team members. Support training and mentoring of staff to enhance risk assessment accuracy and effectiveness. Hold formal qualifications in immigration, corrections, or security management (desirable). Collaborate with corporate stakeholders to develop and refine risk management frameworks and strategies. Provide analytical insights to support executive decision-making and enhance enterprise-wide risk controls. ABOUT YOU You are a committed and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in risk management, preferably in detention, immigration, corrections, or other complex settings. With a dedication to maintaining safety and upholding respect and dignity in diverse environments, you possess exceptional analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
To be successful, you will: Gain and retain all police / security clearances required within our industry. Pass any required health assessments. Pass a working with children check. Travel interstate as required to meet business needs. Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia.
