About the role This FIFO Line Pilot role is based in Meekatharra, WA 6642 and is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Flying Doctor Service WA team, providing vital services to regional and remote communities on a 0.65FTE basis.
What you'll be doing Operate fixed-wing aircraft to transport patients, staff and equipment to and from remote locations Ensure the safe and efficient operation of aircraft in accordance with all relevant regulations, procedures and policies Provide high-quality patient care and liaise with medical teams on board Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks and documentation Contribute to the continuous improvement of aviation operations and safety What we're looking for Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) Single Pilot and / or Aeromedical experience will be highly advantageous Significant experience (minimum 1500 hours) flying fixed-wing aircraft in a variety of weather conditions Strong safety focus and commitment to best practice aviation standards Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with medical and operational staff Resilience and the ability to work effectively in remote and challenging environments What we offer Competitive remuneration and salary packaging options Ongoing professional development and training opportunities Access to our wellbeing program and employee assistance services Opportunities for career progression and leadership development About Us The mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia.
