Due to ongoing business growth, we are looking for a mid to senior level Structural Engineer to join the team. Based in Adelaide, you will work on a range of mining, ports and transport infrastructure remediation design projects across the country.
This is an opportunity for an engineer to further develop skills and experience working on a wide range of projects. You will be supported by mentoring, training sessions and visits to construction sites. When not required on site, you will have the flexibility and be equipped to work from home.

Key Responsibilities
Work on ongoing critical projects with a key focus on safety and quality Work on structural design and load rating projects including analysis of mining / marine / transport infrastructure structures with concrete and steelwork Act as client contact as appointed for specific projects Conduct site inspections to identify structural defects and scope upgrades Liaise with staff members in our other offices Other tasks as allocated by senior staff Selection Criteria
Whilst there will be on-the-job training and the opportunity for career progression, you will ideally have:
Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering Minimum seven (7) years' of industry experience Competent using structural analysis software packages i.e. SpaceGass, Strand7 Sound knowledge and experience in structural design, analysis, client / stakeholder management and project delivery Experienced with site inspections and defect identification Hold or be working towards CPEng Highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Be currently residing in Australia with associated full working rights if applicable Hold membership with Engineers Australia Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Fluent in written and spoken English Applicants who do not meet ALL of the Selection Criteria will not be considered.
