Is this the role for you? This newly created position whilst based in Australia will provide technical support and work collaboratively with the Operating countries to support the growth of Hybrid Workplace in APAC.
The main responsibility will be working closely with Operating Countries and Customers in designing and demonstrating the solutions to solve business problems, with the objective of securing business for Hybrid Workplace.
Operating at both a strategic and tactical level, this role encompasses the full spectrum of pre-sale and post-sale design and engineering methodologies, supporting APAC Operating Countries with their wide range of customers and delivering positive outcomes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities include the following : Collaborating with sales teams across APAC to understand customer needs and develop customised solutions to meet those needs. Maintain professional and technical knowledge; keeping abreast of technology and market trends and preserving industry certifications. Understand customer needs and priorities and recommend solutions to meet those needs, delivering technical support adhering to best practice, to Operating Countries and customers. Assisting with the formulation of project costings and other presales documentation as required. Development and management of designated Hybrid Workplace document repositories in APAC. To be successful in this role : 5-10 years in an Audio Visual consulting, engineering, design and / or commissioning role. Extensive knowledge in the design of AV systems, including but not limited to : projection and display; sound and speech reinforcement; audio and video conferencing; analogue and digital signal processing, analogue and digital signal distribution and routing; control systems is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical, as audiovisual technical professionals must explain technical concepts to non-technical customers and sales teams in a clear and concise manner. Have a wide knowledge of current technology and its partners including but not limited to Logitech, Microsoft, Yealink, Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Poly, Biamp, Neat, Jabra, Smartsign, Screen Cloud, ONELAN, Zoom, LG, PointGrab, VergeSense and Tether. Specific familiarity and skills with : Microsoft Teams Rooms. Microsoft Teams design and certification. Microsoft and Exchange Server and Active Directory Services. Cloud UC platforms (Teams, Pexip, Webex, Zoom). VC Infrastructure (eg. Cisco, Poly). AV over IP. IoT technology. Workspace Management Solutions. Software-Defined Control and stand control systems. VTC environments and protocols, including but not limited to Web RTC. IP, Subnetting, VLANs, Routing and Switching fundamentals (desirable). What we give back to you?
