Your hands-on approach and your natural ability to guide team members to create an exceptional customer experience is paramount. You will thrive under pressure and enjoy working with people! Working closely with the management team, your communication skills will be exceptional as will your ability to train and develop team members.
Required Skills / Duties Assist the Restaurant manager in training and supervising front of house staff members Supervise the floor and team during service and ensure that all standards are met Opening and closing of the restaurant when required Assisting the manager to ensure all checklists, ordering, and closing and opening duties are completed for each shift Assist the manager to provide effective communication and feedback to the FOH team Assist the manager to work with the kitchen on menu changes Communicate and move throughout the restaurant and kitchen to visually monitor and take actions to ensure food quality and service standards are met Follow cash handling protocol where required Taking reservations, managing bookings, and coordinating functions Arranging the purchasing of FOH goods as required Maintaining records of stock levels Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service Ideally you will join us with: 3+ years in fast-paced, full-service restaurant experience, supervisory role preferred Excellent organisational skills and possess the ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks Must have a QLD RSA Advanced communication skills Ability to maintain a positive work environment Strong sales skills Strong wine and general alcohol knowledge Excellent customer service skills Experience in an Italian restaurant would be highly regarded Hands-on, ability to lead by example Versatility and consistency Team-focused Passionate about the industry Solutions-driven and flexible A work ethic to write home about Formal qualification in hospitality management Important Things: Full-time - weekend work required Paid Overtime Meals for double shifts Starting as soon as possible Salary range: $65,000 to $73,150 per year
