Reporting : Warehouse Manager
Purpose :
Supervise warehouse staff and activities in the Maitland raw material warehouse.
Ensure stock accuracy and integrity is properly maintained.
Ensure warehouse processes and procedures are fully complied with.
Key functional duties :
Lead and manage the warehouse team.
Coordinate the operation of the raw material warehouse functions.
Manage the warehouse environment in terms of housekeeping, safety, hygiene and security.
Implement stock control best practices / processes to ensure inventory accuracy.
Monitor and evaluate daily employee performance to provide data support for performance assessments.
Ensure employees understand and comply with policies, procedures and expectations.
Generate and review operational reports / statistics.
Perform incident investigations.
Required Knowledge & Skills :
Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and customer service skills.
Proactive nature with good business sensibility.
Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced working environment.
Own transport.
Required Education / Experience :
Matric plus relevant tertiary qualification (National Diploma / Degree).
A minimum of 3-years' experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role, preferably in a food processing environment.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (Syspro).
