Are you a media host with a passion for telling authentic and interesting stories for a local audience? And are you ready to work for Australia's largest radio network?
We're looking for someone who aspires to create compelling stories from a fresh and original perspective alongside an experienced producer and is keen to learn how to tell quality stories. We're looking for our next host for the much-loved breakfast show, covering the mighty west of New South Wales.
The Job
Host a daily local radio show covering Western NSW, including Dubbo, Mudgee, Wellington, Gilgandra, Bourke, Walgett, Cobar, and Nyngan. Interact regularly with our community and show a strong understanding of the audience. Work with an incredible team in the Dubbo bureau to contribute to larger coverage. Contribute to the Local Emergency Coverage plan and communicate with relevant stakeholders as needed. Generate local content that can be shared with other ABC content teams aimed at local and national audiences. About You
You'll have :
Experience in radio, on-demand audio or media. Ideally, skills in creating original, engaging cross-platform content. Excellent editorial abilities for sourcing and analysing information. Passion for authentic content that represents Australia's diverse cultural and Indigenous communities. Ideally, possession of a current and valid Driver's Licence. What we can offer you :
