This is a full-time, permanent opportunity and the working hours are standard office hours. This role has x3 Quality Coordinators reporting directly into them and also manages multiple QA Officers across 2 shifts.
The Quality Manager reports directly to the Head of Quality.
Duties : Managing and coaching quality teams across day and afternoon shifts (including performance reviews, development goals, inductions, training matrixes) Trending quality non-conformances and customer complaints and implementation of corrective actions Review and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures Optimise production and packaging of products in terms of quality deadlines Compliance with GMP standards and WHS legislation Drive collaboration within teams across multiple shifts Skills / experience : Tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related discipline Previous experience working in a senior level quality role, preferably in the food industry Proven ability to lead teams and foster a collaborative working environment Strong attention to detail and accountability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Mindset of operational excellence Continuous improvement, measuring and addressing performance, customer focused Culture & Benefits : Our client is a family-run business that values a supportive work environment.
