Responsibilities:
Assists with day-to-day property care and maintenance requirements of the National Trust's asset portfolio including leased and non-leased places, equipment, and machinery associated with the property portfolio and the coordination of a regular property inspection program. Assists with insurance requirements (including initiating claims and providing supporting information, Certificates of Currency, questionnaires, and assessments) associated with the property portfolio. Assists with addressing risk management, security, and workplace health and safety matters. Maintains the National Trust's issues register. Liaises with property caretakers, volunteers, lessees, external property managers, and National Trust staff in relation to property care and maintenance issues. Assists with purchasing and incurring requirements and the payment of invoices relating to property management, including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, receiving, verifying, and processing claims for payment. Assists with National Trust activities at properties as required. Through our work, we aim to raise knowledge, awareness, understanding, and commitment to Western Australia's natural and cultural heritage. We do this with the conservation and interpretation of the heritage places and collections we manage on behalf of the community and government of Western Australia, through our education and learning programs, and through community consultation and engagement. This role provides support to the Asset Management Officer. As a result, a key part of this role involves the provision of support in the coordination and maintenance of the portfolio of National Trust places.
