The Project Manager (Research) is responsible for coordinating and reporting on research activities being undertaken by researchers from the University of South Australia, University of New South Wales and University of Technology Sydney on a project titled Energy Masters. The project involves evaluating the effectiveness of Home Energy Management systems in 500 South Australian homes.
The Energy Masters project is an initiative of SA Power Networks and the SA Department for Energy and Mining, supported by funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA), and managed by the University of South Australia (UniSA) for the RACE for 2030 Cooperative Research Centre.
Essential Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and / or relevant experience and demonstrated equivalent knowledge and experience in contract and / or research projects administration Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand contracts, financial documentation, and reporting requirements Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret policies, procedures, and funding requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen and assess the needs of clients, and provide constructive feedback, advice and recommendations to a diverse range of stakeholders in the research context Highly-developed interpersonal skills, demonstrated through the ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment and influence others Benefits
